How It Works

Speed dating is the latest dating craze to hit the UK, having already swept through America.  This craze though is here to stay

ComeSpeedDating is not a dating agency – we simply arrange a venue and invite up to 20 single people of both sexes to come along and meet new people.  At a ComeSpeedDating event you will enjoy a totally new dating experience in a venue booked exclusively for our use. Here’s how it works:

• Registration takes place between 7.00 and 7.30 pm when you will be given a badge with your first name on it and a ‘score’ card.
• Your host will give a short welcome and a brief explanation.
• Ladies will sit at a numbered table and then the men will rotate from one table to the next after spending three minutes in the company of each lady. Your host will signal when it is time to move on.
• Just before the next move, you will mark your scorecard with Either YES, NO or MAYBE; with comment to remind you of the person later, ie Liked Surfing and Parachuting.
• The event will be split into 2 rounds with a 20 minute break between each round.
• At the end of the event you will hand your score card to the host, having marked on it whether you would like to ‘NO date’, ‘YES date’ or ‘MAYBE date’ to give another chance to each of the people you have met.
• You are then free to stay and enjoy the venue and chat with anyone else at the event.
• Within 48 hours (we try to make it within 24) you will receive notification of your matches: ‘HOT’ (Both ticked YES) and ‘WARM’ (One person ticked YES one ticked MAYBE, or both ticked MAYBE)  and given their email addresses (and phone number if they have agreed to release it). The rest is up to you!
